Talented Musician | Driven | Proud Dad

"Working at Columbia has afforded me the opportunity to meet and work with a lot of very nice people with great ideas that have helped me and pushed me to meet my personal goals."

Dennis Douglas

Superintendent

Joined Columbia in 2010

Dennis has over 35 years of experience in the construction industry, making him a great asset to Columbia’s Interiors Division as a Superintendent. His experience working on projects with accelerated schedules, combined with his in-depth construction knowledge and coordination of subcontractors, allows him to bring a unique perspective to each of the projects he undertakes. Dennis has worked on significant projects for both Wentworth Institute of Technology as well as Roger Williams University. He enjoys overcoming the challenges that come with completing a complex project on a fast paced schedule, and his level headed nature makes him the right guy for the job.

Outside of the office, Dennis enjoys exploring creative outlets, most prominently playing and performing music. Living by the motto that “it doesn’t take much to be a success, it takes everything”, Dennis consistently pushes himself to meet challenges in his personal life as well as at work. One of his lifelong dreams is to serve as a mayor or governor, and he has not given up on it yet! Dennis’ most important goal, however, is to ensure that his daughters are successful and happy. He would love to travel to Scotland one day as well!
