"All Columbia employees are very caring about both work and personal situations – it's one big family"

Paul Dagnese

Superintendent

Joined Columbia in 2011

With nearly 30 years of experience in the construction industry under his belt, Paul brings a multitude of expertise to his role as a Superintendent in Columbia’s Interiors Division. Paul coordinates with the client, OPM and subcontractors on a project in order to get the space finished on time and on budget. He takes all of his responsibilities seriously, from managing scheduling to quality control of on-site workmanship. One of Paul’s career highlights was a 100,000 sf multi-phase build out spanning five floors of office space for a client well known in the technology industry in Cambridge.  Known for his approachable personality, he enjoys the variety of people he has the opportunity to work with on each project.

When not on the job, Paul keeps himself busy with several different pastimes. Between playing ice hockey and surfcasting fishing, he knows how to balance playing hard and taking it easy. Paul also has a green thumb – he enjoys taking care of his lawn and also plants and grows his own vegetable garden and squash garden. A big fan of the beach, he would love to own a house on Plum Island in Newburyport, MA after retirement. There, he would be able to enjoy the water and focus on fishing for striped bass!
