Columbia Construction served as the Design-Build Construction Manager for a new Central Inventory Building (CIB) on Amgen’s operational campus. The project was completed in just 128 days.
- This facility includes two computerized vertical lift storage and retrieval systems (Remstar).
- Fire protection in the warehouse is an ESFR (Early Suppression Fast Response) sprinkler system. This specialized system was used due to the racks and the FM rating of the building.
- Columbia prepared and implemented a Safety Management Plan that exceeded OSHA regulations to adhere to Amgen’s strict safety requirements.
