Lean Manager

Joined Columbia in 2017

Cade is a Lean Manager with nearly 15 years of construction experience. His career started in the field, where he worked as a Superintendent managing a variety of project types, including healthcare, education, science and technology, and commercial. Focusing is most recent efforts on applying Lean practices on projects, Cade his a tremendous lean resource, and he works diligently to find ways to leverage and implement Lean principles across Columbia. Today, he supports teams to incorporate Lean principles and helps develop a Last Planner System approach to work. For Cade, having a positive attitude and an open mind is essential to his project successes. A firm believer in embracing technology and continuous improvement, Cade enjoys overcoming project challenges and working with owners, vendors, design teams, and trade partners to build relationships. 

When Cade is not out on the field he is spending time with family at their camp in Newbury, Vermont.  Enjoying his weekend getaways, he loves showing his family where and how he spent his childhood days. As a child, Cade loved taking things apart to try and find out how they work, which makes the construction industry a perfect fit for him.
