John joined Columbia as a Co-op while studying Construction Management and Business at Wentworth Institute of Technology.  A true team player who prioritizes collaboration and teamwork to meet goals efficiently, John started as an Assistant Superintendent upon graduation. He is responsible for tracking the construction progress through the implementation of various spreadsheets, surveys, and reports.  He also plays an active role in commissioning and closing out projects. For John, the idea of taking part in constructing something that people depend on and keeps the world moving, is the most rewarding part of the job. 

Outside of work John enjoys being outdoors, preferably with his dog, his family, and his friends. Come the wintertime, his weekends are filled with ski trips and camping trips to various parts of the Northeast.
