Employees from Columbia Construction participated in a team building event through Building Impact, making Discovery Kits for homeless children. Many staff members assembled and decorated Discovery Kits to help ready homeless preschool-age children for kindergarten. The kits will be utilized by Horizons for Homeless Children at three early education centers located in the Boston area.

Horizons for Homeless Children is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of homeless children and their families through early education and comprehensive family services. Horizons serves more than 2,000 homeless children served each week in three early education centers and offers 680 hours of playtime each week to kids in over 120 shelters.
