| Project Manager
“Columbia has some of the best people in the industry, everyone is willing to go above and beyond what is expected of them. I am proud to be part of such a great company.”
Jared joined Columbia’s Interiors Division in 2015 as a Project Manager, and quickly proved himself to be a great fit for the team. He is responsible for material procurement, contract management and financial reporting throughout the duration of multiple projects at any given time. Jared enjoys the variety that comes with managing projects simultaneously; being faced with new challenges daily keeps him on his toes. He has worked on various renovations with MIT so far, and considers them to be the most challenging but ultimately rewarding projects in his time with Columbia. Jared can be counted on to both lighten the mood in the office and take his work seriously.
A new dad to his daughter Claire, Jared enjoys spending time with his family when not in the office. He is looking forward to showing her how to golf, fish and use a hammer someday (maybe she’ll have a future in construction?). Another important family member is his yellow lab Oakley, who has been known to dress quite fashionably for a dog. Jared likes to run and aspires to participate in the Boston Marathon one day. It is fitting that his favorite quote comes from someone who knows a lot about races, Lance Armstrong: “I take nothing for granted, I now only have good days or great days.”
