Arbor Biotechnologies, an early stage biodiscovery company focused on the high-throughput discovery and characterization of proteins, outgrew its space in a few short years. Expanding in The Science Hotel® on Memorial Drive, a life sciences facility for start-ups, met their R&D growth needs.

The fast-track renovation included modifications to existing lab space, lab casework, and chemical fume hoods. The space was also configured to accommodate a cold storage room, flexible office areas, and meeting facilities. Specialized HEPA filters were installed, along with RH sensors and a humidification system.

Construction activities were carefully sequenced around ongoing building operations so as not to impact the other innovative R&D tenants who occupy space within The Science Hotel®.
