Bullhorn Inc., a cloud-based software solutions provider, relocated their corporate headquarters to the 17th and 18th floors of 100 Summer Street. Columbia Construction oversaw the construction efforts of this Class-A 77,550 sf office fit-out, focusing on the bright and open conceptual design.
The fit-out consists of airy offices with open concept ceilings throughout, and a sound-proof “jam room” full of guitars and various instruments. Other features include a workout room, a large kitchen and dining area, and plenty of meeting spaces.
Creating the isolated sound room within an existing highrise building required specialty acoustical treatments including a floating concrete slab, soundproof doors and windows, and custom acoustic drywall enclosures. Renovations were also performed in the core restrooms on both floors as well as the lobby, and a new interconnecting stair was constructed to support the office openness.
