Project Executive

Joined Columbia in 2000

As a Project Executive with three decades of construction experience, Sam expertly guides clients and teams through the most sophisticated projects. Sam started his career as an Assistant Superintendent, and today he has refined the ability to lead technical and non-technical team members in meaningful collaboration to tackle project roadblocks and stay focused on goals. A seasoned negotiator, Sam enjoys trouble shooting challenges with his comprehensive knowledge of project scheduling, purchasing and his organizational skills. For Sam, seeing the tangible results of a completed construction project one of the most rewarding part of his work. Since joining Columbia in 2000, Sam has managed a number of significant projects and he considers the 335,000 sf corporate campus project at 175-185 Wyman Street a career highlight and a personal favorite.

After his work day, Sam’s favorite place to be is anywhere outside. Spending time with his dogs, riding his bike and enjoying time on the water reenergizes Sam. Someday he hopes to tour Italy on his bike and take in all of the amazing sights and culinary delights.
