Jerret joined in 2023 as the first Director of Diversity & Inclusion at Columbia. In this pivotal role, he works closely with the DEI Working Group and Executive Leadership to oversee the continued implementation of our DEI Strategic Plan. Jerret holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Additionally, he earned an M.P.A. in Public Affairs, as well as a B.A. in Economics & Political Science from the same institution. Known for his open communication style, he cultivates a workplace culture that prioritizes psychological safety and accountability. Jerret is committed to creating and sustaining a diverse workforce at every tier within the organization, serving as a catalyst for change in promoting diversity and inclusivity within the construction industry.

When not at work, Jerrett enjoys exploring his passion for food, trying out different restaurants, and immersing himself in the culinary scene of Boston. At the top of his bucket list is a travel adventure to explore diverse cultures and landscapes worldwide.
