A valued member of the Science + Technology team, Jacob first came to Columbia as a co-op while studying for his BS in Civil Engineering at the University of New Hampshire. Today, he is an Area Superintendent helping to manage some of our most complex projects. Jacob is experienced in monitoring daily activities on the jobsite, managing logistical needs, and ensuring that the site operates in a safe and efficient manner. Always looking for his next challenge, he is a firm believer in continuous learning and enhancing his skills to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction during all phases of construction.
An accomplished Eagle Scout, the highest achievement in the Boy Scouts of America, Jacob is not only a determined team player but also an adventure seeker. He has hiked more than 32 of New Hampshire’s 48 4,000-foot mountains and is committed to completing them all. Always up for an exciting journey, Jacob enjoys riding his motorcycle, camping, and skiing. He has traveled to Colorado, Utah, Canada, and Japan to test his skills on the slopes. To keep him fueled for all his high-energy adventures, Jacob says he could never give up his favorite foods: pizza and a nice, juicy burger.
