The Westin Hotel at Copley Place underwent a major guestroom modification project. This 36-story hotel, located in the heart of Copley Square in Boston, is visited by many travelers. Columbia managed the renovation of the 800 guestrooms and all corridors - six floors at a time in an accelerated 120-day schedule. Special features included custom millwork, as well as new ceramic wall tiling and granite flooring.

Due to the logistical challenges, including the constrained site combined with the fact that the hotel remained fully operational throughout the project, Columbia carefully managed the receiving and distribution of all equipment and materials at an off-site storage location.

This was the second major guestroom renovation Columbia completed for the hotel since 2000.
