    Manufacturing Facility Fit-out

24M is committed to solving the grand challenges for a better energy future by revolutionizing the lithium-ion cell manufacturing process and platform. For this project, Columbia assisted the team in strategizing onsite selection and existing conditions surveying. Upon lease execution, we provided permitting, design, procurement, scheduling, pricing and full Construction management services for the new facility.

Located within an existing single-story, hi-bay 140,000 square foot warehouse, Columbia fit-out the entire space for manufacturing, R&D and flexible offices space. A key component of the project was a 30,000 square foot dryroom meeting a -40 dewpoint specification. This designbuild effort in partnership with our trade partners delivered a fully integrated and commission dryroom, meeting ISO 8 standards and complete with air locks, a Munters dehumidification skid, process exhaust, air change units
and HEPA filtration.

The project also included a complete BMS system monitoring humidity, pressure, temperature along with trending and alarm capabilities. Prioritizing sustainability, the new facility incorporates high-efficiency mechanical equipment to optimize energy use.
