  • Scope:
    R&D Facility Expansion
  • Location:
    Boston, MA

Ratio relocated its headquarters to 19 Drydock Avenue, occupying multiple floors within the facility. Columbia completed the initial phase of the project, renovating the 6th floor, followed by this recent expansion to the 7th floor.

At the forefront of developing new methods to deliver radiotherapeutics for the treatment of metastatic cancers, Ratio requires highly specialized space. The design features a 60/40 lab-to-office configuration, creating an environment that is both flexible and tailored to their research and development needs.

Approximately 16,000 square feet were retrofitted to include a mix of open and private offices, conference and huddle rooms, and a kitchenette with gathering space. The laboratory program incorporates a large-scale medical chemistry suite with dedicated hazardous storage room, labs with over 12 fume hoods, and medical biochemistry spaces. Columbia also built-out areas for future expansion.

All work was carefully coordinated to ensure uninterrupted operations throughout the construction process.
